“When you talk about Viksit Bharat, you mean Viksit Bharat for all — including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, Dalit, Muslim, Hindu, persons with disabilities, acid attack warriors, and more. Akash Hingorani, Principal Architect at Oasis Designs, and who played a key role in restoring public spaces in Delhi and other cities, and lakes in Coimbatore expresses concern at most Indian cities still grappling with issues related to lack of inclusive designs for public spaces. “All public spaces must be pram-and-trolley-bag friendly,” he says.
