A shocking case of alleged road rage was witnessed in Bengaluru, where a man was seen being dragged on the bonnet of a moving car along the busy Old Airport Road, triggering outrage and concern among commuters.

The incident, captured on video, shows a red Maruti Suzuki XL6 speeding recklessly with a man lying across its bonnet. In the footage, the man can be seen shouting and pleading with the driver to stop, but the vehicle continues to accelerate, putting both the victim and other motorists at serious risk.

As the SUV moves through traffic, other vehicles, including an auto-rickshaw and heavy trucks, pass dangerously close, highlighting the severity of the situation. The man appears visibly tense and vulnerable, barely clinging to the bonnet as his body remains positioned near the edge, raising fears he could fall onto the roadway at any moment.

The video suggests the driver made no attempt to stop immediately despite the high possibility of a fatal accident.

According to information received from the Bengaluru Traffic Police, the incident reportedly began after the SUV driver allegedly brushed against an auto-rickshaw, leading to a heated argument between the two parties.

Police have taken cognisance of the matter and registered a case. Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) confirmed that the driver has been detained and the vehicle seized. Further investigation is underway and legal proceedings have been initiated.
