He also claimed that Beth’s allegations were just part of the smear campaign.

In an interview with The Guardian, Mynett heaped praise on Omar for maintaining her grace under constant pressure. Mynett also revealed that he looks up to his wife as an inspiration. Speaking about the same, he said:
“For any human being in the universe to be targeted this way, I’ve never met one that could handle it better than my wife. A lot of times I think back to all of the trials and tribulations of her life – a child war refugee, there’s so much – but I don’t even think it’s that. I don’t think it’s her experience. I think it’s the core of who she is. She knows why she’s here and she’ll never be deterred by somebody doing racist, bigoted things towards her.”
