Aamir Khan recently visited Salim Khan in the hospital and shared an update on the same. He spoke to the media and opened up about the veteran screenwriter’s current condition. He noted that he was unable to meet the man himself, but he spent some time with his family members.

Opening up on his visit, Aamir said, “Main Salim sahab se milne gaya tha, hum sab dua kar rahe hain ki voh jaldi se theek hojaayen (I went to meet Salim Sahab, and we are all praying that he recovers soon). Because he is in the ICU, I couldn’t meet him personally but sat with the family.” He also noted that Salim Khan’s elder daughter Alvira Agnihotri has assured him of her father’s improving health. “Jo mujhe Alvira ji bata rahi hai, har roz ki unki health improve ho rahi hai. Hum sab prarthna kar rahe hain ki voh jaldi ghar aa jaayen aur unki health bhi wapas aa jaaye (Alvira ji tells me every day that his health is improving. We are all praying that he returns home soon and that his health is fully restored),” he added.

For those unaware, Aamir had visited Salim Khan, Salman Khan and their family a week ago, when the news about the veteran screenwriter’s hospitalisation had surfaced. Since then he has been frequently visiting Lilavati hospital to check on the family.

While the Khan family has not interacted with the media or shared statements about Salim Khan’s health, Bollywood stars, who are meeting the veteran artiste, have shared their interactions upon visit. Previously, Daisy Shah spoke about Salim’s ongoing treatment. She revealed, “I couldn’t meet Salim sir, but I am constantly in touch with Salman sir and his family. Salim Sir is fine now. He is stable. The surgery went well, it was a success and he is under observation, but he is out of danger.”
