Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has arrived in Mumbai on a four-day visit to India aimed at boosting trade and resetting bilateral ties between the two nations. The visit comes after relations suffered a setback in recent times. Ahead of the trip, Canadian officials stated that India is no longer a security threat, marking a shift in tone after Canada had accused New Delhi of carrying out extrajudicial killing of Sikh separatists in Canada in 2023.
