Panic gripped Bihar’s Araria district at Forbesganj railway station after a highly venomous “gehuwan” snake slithered onto the platform and into the RPF office, triggering chaos among passengers and railway staff. The tense situation lasted for nearly an hour, with frantic efforts underway to safely remove the snake as crowds scattered in fear. Electrician Mohammad Anees, risking his life, eventually managed to pull the snake out of the office, after which it moved onto the platform. Moments later, the snake disappeared into a drain, bringing much-needed relief. Officials believe the reptile may have fallen from the roof due to heavy rains, prompting swift action to ensure passenger safety.
