Despite the growing controversy, reports suggest that Mike Vrabel might attend the opening round of the NFL Draft. According to Ian Rapoport, Mike, the Patriots’ head coach, will be in the team’s draft room as planned on April 23, 2026, hinting that for now, his leaked pictures with Dianna Russini have not affected his immediate professional responsibilities.Â
However, the situation might change later in the draft schedule. Mike has confirmed that he will take a break from his duties before the final day to start his counseling. According to ESPN and other US news outlets, Mike mentioned that he wants to “give the best version” of himself to his family and team. It means he might not be present for Day 3 decisions. In turn, the Patriots have accepted Mike’s decision to step away for prioritizing his personal issues.
Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel’s 2020 pictures raise doubtsÂ
The situation has become more complex for Mike and Dianna after Page Six shared more pictures of the duo, sitting at a New York City Bar in March 2020. In one of those pictures, they appear to be kissing, and the other shows them in close proximity. Notably, these images were taken when Mike was coaching the Tennessee Titans, and Dianna worked for ESPN. At the same time, the news outlet shared an eyewitness’ quoted, who said:
“They were all over each other.”

The duo appeared cozy and close, sparking speculation about the nature of their bond. To do so, I have committed to seeking counseling, starting this weekend. This is something that I have given a lot of thought to and is something I would advise a player to do if I were counseling them.”
