The Bharatiya Janata Party has launched an attack on the Aam Aadmi Party leadership over allegations of constructing a new lavish bungalow on Lodhi Road in Delhi. During a press conference, the Delhi Deputy Chief Minister accused the AAP Chief of abandoning the party’s foundational principles of simplicity in favour of an extravagant lifestyle. The BJP leader presented the alleged layout of the new residence, which reportedly includes five bedrooms and four drawing rooms, questioning the source of the funds used for its construction. Furthermore, the BJP claimed that honest AAP workers are becoming disillusioned and leaving the party due to the leadership’s alleged corruption and lavish spending. The opposition also raised concerns about whether the public would be allowed access to this new residence. Additionally, the BJP suggested that the AAP’s declining political footprint across various states could eventually lead to the loss of its national party status and the associated privileges.
