Lisa passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 54. According to Us Weekly, Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley tied the knot in May 1994. The wedding was reportedly not attended by Michael’s mother, Katherine.

The duo later travelled to Budapest and continued appearing together on various occasions, including the Video Music Awards in 1994. However, the marriage did not last long, leading to their split in 1995. A year later, Lisa filed for divorce due to irreconcilable differences in 1996. Following Michael’s death in 2009, Lisa Marie Presley dismissed the fact that her marriage to the singer was fake. She addressed the same by saying:

“After the divorce, I spent a few years obsessing about him and what I could have done different, in regret. Then I spent some angry years at the whole situation. At some point, I truly became indifferent, until now.”

Notably, Michael was undergoing treatment for vitiligo from dermatologist, Arnold Klein, in 1983. Debbie was an assistant to Arnold. The pair initially formed a close friendship and reportedly got close to each other after Michael and Lisa’s divorce.

The duo tied the knot in 1996 while Michael was busy with an ongoing tour. The pair welcomed a child named Prince Michael in 1997. Debbie once said in an interview that Michael was excited when she had a contraction. While speaking on the 2003 television special, Debbie addressed the fact that her children do not call her “mum.” She said that she does not want her kids to do the same since they are Michael’s children, and she had them because Jackson wanted to become a father.

Debbie said that there were moments when her children’s faces were covered, and it was a request made by her. Debbie even opened up about the reasons leading to her split from Michael. The separation happened because of the public attention that emerged from the duo’s marriage. Notably, Rowe wanted to live a normal life, and she explained it by saying:
