When the woman recording the incident confronted the man, he became even more aggressive. The video also showed other customers present at the eatery trying to get hold him in an attempt to stop him.
The Indian woman who appears shaken in the video, continues doing her job and tries to stay calm.
People commenting on the video suggested the attacker believed immigrants were taking jobs away from young Canadians.
One user wrote: “Canadian youth aren’t stupid, they know who’s taking their jobs.” Another said: “The first five rungs on the job ladder have been stolen from them.”

The video has triggered a flood of reactions on social media. Many condemned the behaviour: “Go back to your fkn Europe, your fkn freeloader on native land,” one user posted. “Shows lack of culture in these youths,” another said. “Maybe whites should stop blaming immigrants for taking their jobs and get their lazy a**es up to work,” a comment read.
Some, however, defended the young man: “Canadians are getting fed up now,” one person wrote. “Proud of these kids,” another said.
A few comments went even further, using harsh language to blame immigrants for social frustration in Canada.
The incident has renewed concerns over racism faced by immigrants working in public-facing jobs in Canada. Community groups say such abuse is underreported because workers fear losing employment or immigration status.
