The Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) thanked the Indian Railways for arranging a special train for the personnel involved in the Indian Premier League in Dharamsala. Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals players and support staff were stationed at the hill station after their match got suspended on May 8. The teams, along with the commentators and production crew involved in the game, were evacuated to New Delhi on Friday, May 9.
India Today reported on Thursday that a special train had been arranged to get the Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals players and support staff from Dharamsala to Delhi after the match on Thursday, May 8 was called off amidst rising tensions between India and Pakistan.
The video of the players relaxing in the train was uploaded by the Indian Premier League’s X handle, but the post was redacted moments later.
