AISSEE 2024 Result: The National Testing Agency conducted the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination, AISSEE 2024 on January 01. Students who took the test are now waiting for their results, which should be out about six weeks after the exam. After the results are announced, students and their parents can check them on the official website at nta.ac.in.
The AISSEE 2024 answer key was released by the testing agency on February 25.Candidates dissatisfied with the provisional answer key were given the opportunity to submit objections, if any, by February 27, 2024. This process required payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) per challenged recorded response.
Age Requirement
For Class VI: Candidates must be between 10 to 12 years old as of March 31st of the admission year.
For Class IX: Candidates must be between 13 to 15 years old as of March 31st of the admission year.
Selection Process
The process for selecting candidates for admission to the All India Sainik Schools (AISSEE) is designed to ensure that those admitted possess not only academic prowess but also exhibit the necessary qualities to succeed in a disciplined and demanding environment. Entrance Examination
The AISSEE, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is a national-level entrance exam for admission to Classes VI and IX. Class VI exam covers Mathematics, General Knowledge (Science & Social Studies), Language (Hindi/English), and Intelligence. Class IX exam covers Mathematics, Intelligence, English, General Science, and Social Studies.
Qualifying Marks
A candidate is eligible for admission if they secure a minimum of 25% marks in each subject and 40% marks in the aggregate of all subjects in AISSEE 2024. Admission is based on e-counselling as per the merit list of AISSEE – 2024, medical fitness, and verification of requisite documents. Admissions are conducted through e-counselling based on School-wise, Class-wise, gender-wise, and category-wise Merit List of AISSEE-2024 within the Home State/Outside State category, contingent upon marks secured in the entrance exam, medical fitness, and verification of necessary documents.
Other Selection Stages
Medical Examination: Qualified candidates undergo a medical examination conducted by authorized medical officers.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates face an interview to evaluate their personality, communication skills, leadership potential, and motivation.
Final Selection
The final selection is based on a combined merit list considering performance in the entrance exam, interview, and medical fitness.
Candidates should note that appearing and passing in AISSEE 2024 does not guarantee admission to the Sainik Schools/approved New Sainik Schools.
