Bill Gates, founder-chairman of the Gates Foundation, will visit Andhra Pradesh on Monday to explore deeper collaboration with the state government across health, education, agriculture and artificial intelligence.

According to official sources, Gates will hold detailed discussions with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and IT Minister Nara Lokesh on scaling up ongoing projects with the support of the foundation.

Gates is scheduled to arrive at the state secretariat in Amaravati around 10 am. He will later visit the Real Time Governance System (RTGS) Centre to observe the use of technology in governance, where Naidu will outline the state’s real-time monitoring framework and outcomes.

Chief Minister Naidu will also present the state’s “Swarna Andhra 2047” vision, highlighting reforms in public health, agriculture and education, along with initiatives in med-tech, diagnostic services and the Sanjeevani digital health programme.

A detailed demonstration of Sanjeevani, being run in collaboration with the Gates Foundation, is also planned.

Following the secretariat engagements, Gates and his team will visit an agricultural centre near Undavalli village, where they will examine farming practices that use drones and AI-based technologies.

The Gates Foundation has been implementing health-related projects in Kuppam in Chittoor district, and the proposed talks are expected to focus on expanding these interventions across the state.

This will be Gates’s third visit to Andhra Pradesh, following an invitation from the Chief Minister to further strengthen cooperation.
