In a significant organisational overhaul, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed 45-year-old Bihar Minister Nitin Naveen as its new National Working President. The five-time MLA from Bankipur, who secured a massive victory in the 2025 elections, is seen as a symbol of the party’s generational transition. Speaking on his elevation, Naveen stated, ‘Mere kaam pay vishwas karna chaahiye shortcut se nahi,’ emphasising his belief in long-term dedication over shortcuts.
