Cole Bennett’s journey started many years ago when he recorded videos on a home camera with his friends. He later developed an interest in rap music after attending a multimedia class and started filming music videos, using the camera of his mother. Cole eventually decided to create a blog, and his mother suggested the name, Lyrical Lemonade. Cole initially used WordPress to share his thoughts on music and slowly started interacting with artists.
Cole studied communications at DePaul University, following which local artists came to his dorm room to record videos. Cole directed a lot of music videos, and they were posted on Lyrical Lemonade, which started getting a lot of attention. However, Cole decided to step back from directing all the videos for Lyrical Lemonade in 2024 and opted to direct a few of them.
