CPI leaders who met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin invited him to the party’s State conference in Kerala in September this year and to the party’s centenary celebrations.
CPI national secretariat member and Kerala State secretary Binoy Viswam, Kerala Revenue Minister K. Rajan and Tamil Nadu State secretary R. Mutharasan besides the party MPs and MLAs called on Mr. Stalin and Deputy Chief Minister Udayanidhi Stalin.
Both the DMK and the CPI would fight the ‘fascistic and anti-democratic government’ at the Centre, the leaders decided. They said there was a need to mobilise all like-minded forces to strengthen this fight.
