In a major shake-up following the suicide of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Y Puran Singh, the Haryana government is likely to send the state’s Director General of Police (DGP) Shatrujeet Kapur on leave, top government sources said on Thursday.

According to senior officials, the government is considering appointing an officiating DGP later today as part of an immediate administrative reshuffle in the state police hierarchy.
