Nine individuals, including two peddlers, were arrested by the sleuths of Hyderabad Narcotics Police Station of the Telangana Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) Force in coordination with Cyberabad Police following sustained surveillance and intelligence inputs.
The accused were identified as Shaik Ahmed, 23, a resident of Srinivas Nagar, Jagadgirigutta, and Shaik Avezuddin, 22, a resident of Sriram Nagar, Gajularamaram, both identified as peddlers and consumers. They were arrested after a 60-hour continuous operation, and all of them tested positive for cannabis during screening. The supplier, identified as Mohammed Sameer of Moosapet, Balanagar, currently remains at large.
