A report has provided details on the number of enforcement actions and border controls as well as food hygiene and food standards inspections in England, Wales, and Scotland.

It includes official control data and activities in 2024 covering feed and food safety, animal health and welfare, and plant health. One issue was the suspected abuse of the Food Standards Agency (FSA) logo and the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) in marketing by businesses supplying food or seeking to advise such companies.
