The tide of ‘Animal’ has washed over and Ranbir Kapoor is all set to move onto his next project. The actor is all set to begin shooting for Nitesh Tiwari‘s epic drama Ramayana. Ahead of the same, Ranbir was spotted in the city, sporting a clean shave look. The actor’s lean physique further added to his look for the character.
Ranbir Kapoor will be seen essaying the role of Lord Ram in this period film, which stars Sai Pallavi as the leading lady.The film is all set to go on floors in the coming weeks. Ramayana has been planned as a three part series and will star some big names from the industry. Sunny Deol has been roped in to play the role of Lord Hanuman, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen essaying the role of Shurpanakha while Vijay Sethupathi has signed up to essay Vibhishan in the movie.

Buzz sugests that Ranbir will take off to the US to participate in the pre-visualisation of the film with a Los Angles based VFX company. The film is all set to hit the screens around Diwali 2025.
