A major commotion broke out inside the residence of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi as supporters from the Makhdoompur constituency stormed into the house, protesting against sitting RJD MLA Satish Kumar.

According to reports, the protestors entered the house and raised slogans, demanding that Satish Kumar should not be given a ticket for the upcoming elections.

The agitators, identified as residents and supporters from the Makhdoompur Assembly constituency, created chaos inside the premises, expressing strong opposition to Kumar’s candidature.

They were heard demanding, “Satish Kumar ko ticket nahi dena chahiye” (Satish Kumar should not be given a ticket).

Security personnel present at the spot tried to control the situation as the protesters refused to back down and continued their demonstration inside the premises.

Amid these developments, political campaigning is ongoing. In a rally, RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav, speaking with India Today’s Maria Shakeel, expressed confidence about the Mahagathbandhan alliance winning the upcoming state assembly elections.

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar arrived in the Bihar capital late on Friday to review, over the next couple of days, preparations for the high-octane assembly polls, which are expected to be announced soon, an official said to the news agency PTI.
