SSC Steno Result 2023: The Staff Selection Commission has announced the final result for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination, 2023, today, February 8. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check the final result on the official website at ssc.nic.in.
The Staff Selection Commission announced the results of the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination, 2023 on November 24, 2023.A total of 3596 candidates qualified for the Stenography Skill Test for Grade ‘C’ and 18299 for Grade ‘D’. Among them, 1901 candidates took the Grade ‘C’ test and 9947 took the Grade ‘D’ test.
“Document Verification (DV) would be done by the Indenting/User Departments. Accordingly, in accordance with the Notice No. HQ-PPII010/1/2023-PP_II (E-3789) dated 30.01.2024 of the Commission, Option-cum-preference has been taken online from 30.01.2024 to 02.02.2024 from the candidates, who had appeared in Stenography Skill Test Examination. Accordingly, 8702 candidates who have submitted their preference online have been considered for further selection process, reads the official notice.
How to check SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Result 2023?
Step 1. Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.nic.in
Step 2. On the homepage, go to the ‘Results’ tab
Step 3. Now, click on the link that reads, “Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination 2023 – Declaration of Final Result”
Step 4. A PDF of the result will be displayed on the screen
Step 6. Download and take a printout of the result for future reference

Commission has fixed the category-wise cut-off on the percentage of error/ mistakes allowed in Skill Test as under:
(i) For Stenographer Grade ‘C’: Up to 5% errors are allowed for candidates in the General category, and up to 7% errors for candidates in all reserved categories.
(ii) For Stenographer Grade ‘D’: Up to 7% errors are permitted for candidates in the General category, and up to 10% errors for candidates in all reserved categories.
Candidate selection is not final until they pass document verification by the respective departments. During this process, candidates must provide certificates/documents verifying their education and caste/category. If any claims made in the application are unsupported by these documents, the candidate’s candidacy will be canceled. Detailed marks of the qualified/non-qualified candidates will be made available on the website of the Commission shortly
