Dietary supplements continued to dominate a European report on suspected non-compliances with almost 30 cases mentioning the United States.

There were 196 reports in December 2025 compared to 194 in November and 223 in October. Earlier data shows 164 notices in September, 166 in August, 136 in July, 164 in June and 129 in May. In total, 28 alerts involved the United States in December, with all but one of them related to food supplements. Warnings were because of ethylene oxide or other ingredients and health claims not allowed in Europe.
