Many stars from Bollywood and the TV world have strongly spoken out against the attack.Recently,Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Kumarr Modi also shared his thoughts and condemned the tragic incident.
Asit Kumarr Modi recently shared a statement with the media where he not only condemned the attack but also stated that no religion teaches violence. He further asked the Indians to stay united. He shared, “After four days have passed since this horrific incident, I am still saddened by the cowardly terrorist attack on our Hindu tourists in Kashmir. My prayers are with the families of the victims. No religion teaches us to hate one another.In such times, we—people of all religions, including all Muslims—must stand united together …. as one nation and fight against the terrorism happening in our Bharat.”
He further added, “I have immense faith in the patriotic spirit of our Hindu and Muslim brothers and sisters, who have always stood shoulder to shoulder in preserving the unity and peace of our great nation. Jai Hind!”
The horrific incident in Pahalgam on April 22, 2025, claimed the lives of 26 innocent tourists when gunmen opened fire in the popular hill destination. In response, the Indian Army has launched an extensive search operation in the snow-covered mountains to track down the attackers.
Following the tragedy, the Indian government has taken strict measures. The Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan has been put on hold, and Pakistani nationals residing in India have been given 48 hours to leave the country. Additionally, the scheduled release of Abir Gulaal, a cross-border film starring Vaani Kapoor and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, has been officially cancelled for its Indian release next month.
