Many rumours on social media denote that Taylor recently performed in Jamnagar at a high-profile wedding. It has been confirmed that the performer in the videos that are going viral is reportedly Dorothy, a famous Taylor Swift doppelgänger. However, the same hasn’t stopped social media users from manifesting a Taylor Swift concert in India.

While the debate is ongoing, a throwback interview from Hindustan Times has surfaced, where Taylor Swift is appreciating her love for Indian cinema and culture. As per the interview, Taylor noted, “Indian cinema has a lot of music and dance, which excites me. I think Indians share a big passion for song and dance in the movies, which I love. It is a great way of connecting with the audience.”

She also showered appreciation on AR Rahman. During the 2014 interview, she had said, “I have heard a lot about AR Rahman. I think he is a fantastic musician. His music touches the soul. I would love to hear him live in performance once.”

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has never performed in India. However, many fan theories state that India might be one of the stops during her next concert. But, it is officially unclear if Taylor is planning to perform in the country.

On the personal front, she recently got engaged to Travis Kelce. Sharing a post on social media, she wrote, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” Taylor had donned a black and white striped dress, while Travis was seen in a casual black shirt with white half trousers. The two seemed to be on cloud nine, as the adorable pictures flaunted their union.
