U.S Marshals have seized approximately 73,000 units of product containing 7-hydroxymitragine, commonly known as 7-OH. The products were seized from facilities operated by Shaman Botanicals LLC and Relax Relief Rejuvenate Trading LLC.

The 7-OH products are derived from Kratom, a tropical tree (Mitragyna speciosa) that is native to Southeast Asia. It is frequently brewed into tea. The seizures were undertaken on behalf of the Justice Department and the Food and Drug Administration.
