A trade union in New Zealand has voiced concerns about the impact that planned meat inspection changes could have on exports to the United States.
The Public Service Association (PSA) said it will request a meeting with the U.S. Embassy to talk about the issue, as the U.S. market buys a reported $2.8 billion ($1.7 billion U.S.) of New Zealand’s red meat every year.
