A Class 6 student died suddenly on Friday morning while taking an exam at Mount Fort Inter College in Mahanagar, Lucknow. According to reports, the boy fainted and collapsed at his seat inside the examination hall.

Teachers immediately took him to Bhaurao Deoras Civil Hospital, where doctors performed CPR for an extended period. However, there was no response, and the child was declared “brought dead,” indicating that he had died before reaching the hospital.

Chief Medical Officer of BRD Hospital, Dr Ranjeet Dixit, stated that the child was brought in an unconscious state at around 11 am. Despite the emergency team’s best efforts, he could not be saved. The incident has caused shock and grief among the school administration, students, and parents.

This is reportedly the second such incident at the school within a year. The boy’s father, Sandeep Singh, a resident of Jankipuram, was informed and arrived at the hospital following the tragedy.
