As his latest film Do Deewane Seher Mein continues to gain praise on Netflix, Siddhant Chaturvedi expressed his gratitude for the love the film is receiving. Through a social media post, he steered away from a typical promotional update, opting instead for a personal note that reflects on the film’s themes of imperfect love and acceptance.

Siddhant, who plays the character Shashank in the film alongside Mrunal Thakur’s Roshni, shared that he has been personally going through his DMs, fan tags, and edits. He described it as beautiful to see the audience connect so deeply with the story and find reflections of their own lives within it.

Talking about the nature of the relationship portrayed in the film, Siddhant wrote, “Love isn’t about arriving perfect… it’s about staying, even when you’re not and in the search for love, finding a broken piece of yourself in that person… imperfect, just like you but somehow, all you see is light (Roshni).

Siddhant highlighted that the film moves away from grand gestures and melodramatic tropes. He wrote, “In our film Do Deewane Seher Mein, both Shashank & Roshni carry their imperfections unaware of acceptance …a little lost, a little late, a little unsure of the language of love. But that’s what makes them linger. Not the grand gestures, Not the melodramatic emotions, but the pauses between words, the hesitation before holding on, the quiet hope that maybe, just maybe, they are enough. This film doesn’t promise forever…it makes you search for it….And somewhere in that search, in the broken rhythm of a city that never quite waits, it teaches us acceptance.

Adding a personal touch to the post, Siddhant shared a behind-the-scenes video captured by his brother, Ratnesh Tiwari. He revealed a fun fact that his character, Shashank, is loosely based on his brother. He jokingly wrote, “Bhai hai toh ‘Thank you’ nahi bolunga, bohot maarega… but love you bhai.” He concluded his note with a warm wish for his fans saying, “I hope every Shashank, in his own time… in a soft, hush-hush way… ssshh finds his Roshni.
