Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Ayodhya on November 25, 2025, for the Dhwaja Rohan (flag-hoisting) ceremony, which signifies the completion of the Ram Temple’s construction. The event, taking place on the auspicious day of Vivaah Panchami, will be attended by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The ceremony aims to convey a message of social equality with invited representatives from the Dalit, transgender, and Aghori communities. Ahead of the event, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat said that the days of invasion are now gone, stating, ‘hazaar saal Tak akramakon ke pairon tole Ronda Gaya…wo aakraman ke din bhee chale Gaye AB ram mandir per jhanda fahrane vaale’ . The Prime Minister’s visit also includes a roadshow, and the hoisting of the 191-foot saffron flag will serve as the official announcement of the temple’s completion.
