Adria Arjona and Edgardo Canales tied the knot a year after they got engaged
Adria Arjona and Edgardo Canales kept their romance away from the spotlight for a long time. However, the relationship grabbed attention when Adria posted a picture featuring Edgardo on Instagram in July 2018. As per the caption, the snap was shared on the occasion of their anniversary, and it featured them kissing each other on the beach. They got engaged in the same year, with Adria displaying the ring on another Instagram post.
In 2019, Adria Arjona and Edgardo Canales exchanged vows in Guatemala, and the wedding ceremony reportedly ended during the morning hours, a day after it started in the evening. The occasion also witnessed the presence of singer and songwriter, Gaby Moreno. Adria continued sharing glimpses of her relationship with Edgardo until they separated in 2023. Although the pair never shared the reasons behind the divorce, it reportedly happened due to irreconcilable differences.
Edgardo Canales has been associated with Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios for a long time
Just like his ex-wife, Edgardo Canales has been involved with the entertainment industry for some time. He has been serving as a Business Affairs Executive and Business Affairs Manager for Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios for more than three years since 2022. Edgardo graduated from the Boston College Carroll School of Management in 2009 and joined the University of Puerto Rico in the same year. Back in 2013, Edgardo enrolled at the Southwestern Law School, improving his skills in entertainment law through various courses, such as the Entertainment Business Affairs Negotiations Course.Â
Before joining the Southwestern Law School, Canales was an attorney, drafting memoranda and court pleadings, alongside participating in the negotiation and preparation of music licensing and other rights with famous companies. Canales joined Movie Package Company in 2014, serving in the department of business and legal affairs. Edgardo’s duties included drafting television and film production contracts. Edgardo was an assistant to Philip Button at William Morris Endeavor for a few months in 2015.Â
He then came to STX Entertainment in the same year, working in the International Production and Management for three years until 2018. He had to review, analyse, and draft the legal documents and other agreements alongside organizing meetings related to business with different clients. Canales later became the manager of International Production and Business & Legal Affairs in STX and served as the director of Business and Legal Affairs between 2021 and 2022.
